The Danube Bike Trail from Vienna to Budapest offers a great opportunity to get to know Central Europe by cycling through Austria via Slovakia to Hungary.
After spending some time in the culturally rich metropolis of Vienna, the Danube Floodplain National Park is waiting for you to get a little closer to nature. Enjoy a relaxing bike ride through enchanting landscapes on the way to Bratislava, where you can get an insight into Slovakian history and cuisine.
Continuing your journey on the EURO Velo #6 bike path from Vienna to Budapest, you will cross a border again and discover the Hungarian countryside with smaller and larger towns enriched with cultural, historical and gastronomic impressions.
If you go all the way to the capital city of Budapest, there is something for everyone to satisfy their needs. When it comes to museums, art, street art, nightlife, wellness and relaxation, history, gastronomic experiences, the list is endless.
